Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Program 2022 at the University of Toronto

Lester B. Pearson Scholarship : The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto is intended to recognize non-Canadian talented international students.

This Scholarship is dedicated to High School Leavers from All countries around the world, who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school.

The scholarship is particularly dedicated to students who have created a positive impact on their school and community, and exhibit future potential to contribute positively to the global community.

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships are awarded annually, and aim to recognize students who demonstrate outstanding performance.

Applicants must be International students at High schools Within and Outside Canada. Candidates must be in their Final year and are preparing to graduate from their high school.

Every year, the selection committee for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship selects approximately 37 students for this prestigious scholarship.

Applications for this scholarship programme are usually by nomination. Students are nominated by their High School up on request.

Once nominated, applicants will then have to apply for an undergraduate programme to study at the University of Toronto and as well submit a sperate application for the Scholarship.

Benefits?

To become a Pearson Scholar, you must be nominated by your school and apply to undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto

If selected for this program, you will receive a Scholarship covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Eligibility?

Applicant should be an international student from any country other than Canada.

Candidates must be High school students in their final year of high school at a Canadian high school or a School in any country around the world

You must be an original and creative thinker committed to school and community

Applicants are high achiever in academic and creative pursuits

You are expected to be enthusiastic about learning and intellectual exploration

Applicants must have demonstrated strong leadership skills

To apply, you must be currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2021

You must be Intending to begin university in the upcoming academic year

Applicants and students who are already attending post-secondary studies may not apply.

To apply, you are advised to follow the procedure below:

In order to become a Pearson Scholar, you must be nominated by your school . You are therefore asked to contact your school guidance counsellor or administrator and inquire/ ask to be nominated. The deadline for nomination is November 30, 2021.

Applicants must first receive a nomination from their school from where they are attending their high school studies or graduated from high school (If your high school is not yet verified by the program, you submit an application to participate by clicking here )
