  • There is no age limit and candidates must satisfy the basic entry demands.
  • All candidates should be mature, highly disciplined, and possess all the attributes of sound health: physical, mental, and social well-being with an absence of disease or infirmity.
  • All candidate should possess the following qualities:
    • A good citizen with character and trait of home training.
    • Ability and readiness to learn under the College tutelage.
    • Lack of criminal tendencies and record of crime.
    • The tendency of obedience and compliance with the College Rules and Regulations.
  • A candidate shall be qualified for Admission, via securing the cut-off pass mark in the entrance examination
  • Candidate must be successful at the interview conducted by the College Management.

1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY: JAMB.
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess At least five (5) Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry and Physics /Geography/Economics/Technical Drawing/Food & Nutrition at not more than two sittings.

2. WEST AFRICA HEALTH EXAMINATION BOARD NATIONAL DIPLOMA (WAHEB ND) IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess At least five (5) Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry and Physics/Geography/Economics/Technical Drawing/Food & Nutrition at not more than two sittings.

3. WEST AFRICA HEALTH EXAMINATION BOARD NATIONAL DIPLOMA WAHEB(HND) IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess At least five (5) Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry and Physics/Geography,/Economics/Technical Drawing/ Food & Nutrition at not morethantwosittings in addition to WAHEB National Diploma.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS-IN-TRANING (EVT DIPLOMA) PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess
i. At least four (4) Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Biology or Health Science and any other two (2) from Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry or Physics, Agricultural Science, and Technical Drawing at not more than two sittings
ii. Holders of Environmental Health Assistant Certificate with at least two(2) years post-qualification with cognate experience in-addition to O’Level requirements in (i) above shall be qualified for a direct entry admission to 200 level.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT-IN-TRAINING (EHA CERTIFICATE) PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess At least four (4 ) passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Biology/
Health Science and any two from the following subjects: Nutrition, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.

6. DIPLOMA IN FOOD HYGIENE (DFH) PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess City and Guild Certificate or NABTEB Certificate in Catering and Hotel Management with at least four (4) credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Biology/Health Science and any two from the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

7. CERTIFICATE IN FOOD HYGIENE (CFH) PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRYCOLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at-least four (4) credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Biology/Health Science, and any two from the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics and Nutrition at not more than two(2) sittings.

8. PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION:SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess West Africa Health Examination Board National Diploma (WAHEB), HND in Environmental Health Technology OR it’s equivalent plus at-least five (5) credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.

9. WEST AFRICA HEALTH EXAMINATIONS DIPLOMA IN HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMME
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in
WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics,
Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two(2) sittings.

10. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in
WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics,
Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two(2) sittings.

11.NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HIM TECH.)
MODE OF ENTRY: JAMB
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in
WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects at not more than two sittings from one source and which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry or Physics, and other subject that can be selected among Geography, Economics, Commerce and Government.

12. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HIM) TECHNICIAN-IN-TRAINING
PROGRAM
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at least five(5) credit passes in
WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects at not more than two sittings from one source and which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry or Physics, and other subject that can be selected among Geography, Economics, Commerce and Government.

i. Holders of Health Information Management Assistant Certificate(HIMA) with at-least five credit passes in O’Level subjects as stated in (i) above will be admitted to 200 Level.

13. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
MODE OF ENTRY: JAMB
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at-least five (5) credit passes in at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry
and Physics. A pass in Chemistry may be considered.

14. CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 2 SEMESTERS
ENTRY DEMANDS: Candidates must possess at-least three (3) credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects at not more than two sittings which must include English Language or Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry or Physics.

15. BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN –IN-TRAINING PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements. Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) with credit level passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level in five subjects including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics at not more than two (2 )sittings.

16. DIPLOMA IN DISPENSING OPTICIANRY
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements. At least five (5) Credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB. O’ Level Subjects which include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings from one source.

17. ORTHOPEDIC PLASTER CAST TECHNICIAN-IN-TRAINING.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements.
At least five (5) Credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB O’ Level Subjects which include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings from one source.

18.CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN HIV/AIDS CONTROL MANAGEMENT.
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 2 SEMESTERS
(i) Health Workers (JCHEW, CHEW, Environmental Health Technologists/Assistant/Nurses, Health Information Managers, etc with (2) years post qualification experience in addition to at least five (5) Credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB.O’ Level subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.

Graduates in all Health related fields with fiveO’Level subjects as stated in (i) above are also eligible to apply.

19. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) NUTRITION AND DIETETICS
MODE OF ENTRY: JAMB
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements:
At least five (5) Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects at not more than two(2) sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Agric. Science or Food and Nutrition. A pass in Physics is acceptable.

N.B: 2results fromWAEC and NECO can be combined for all programs in the Department of Community Health.

20. WAHEB (HND) IN PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (PHN) PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT & JAMB
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS.
A. (i) Candidates must possess an RN Certificate (Register Nurse Certificate)
(b) With five Credit passes in WAEC/NECO.O’Level including English Language and one Science subject.
(c) Plus one-year post qualification experience.
B. (ii) Holder of B.sc Nursing with Cognate experience in addition to A (I) above shall be qualified for Direct Entry admission to 200 level.

21. DENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS –IN-TRAINING (DT) DIPLOMA COURSE
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess at least five Credit passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO & NABTEB which must include English Language, Biology, or Health Science, Mathematics, Chemistry
and one other science subject obtained in not more than two sittings from Physics, Economics, Geography, and Agricultural Science.

22. HEALTH TECHNICIANS-IN-TRAINING DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
i. Candidates must possess at least four passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO & NABTEB. O’Level which must include English Language, Biology or Health Science, Mathematics and one other subject from the following: Chemistry/Physics/Agricultural Science obtained at not more than two sittings
ii. Holder of Health Assistant Certificate (HAMCERT) with 2 years Post qualification cognate experience in addition to (i) above for direct entry admission to 200 level.

23. HEALTH ASSISTANT- IN -TRAINING(MEDICAL OPTION) (HAM) CERT. COURSE
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 4 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess at least four passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level must include English Language, Biology or Health Science, Mathematics, and any other from Science and Social Science at not more than two sittings.
N.B: Two Results from WAEC and NECO can be combined for all progammes in the Department of Public Health Nursing.

24. PHARMACY TECHNICIANS- IN-TRAINING PROGRAMME (PHT)
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements:
At least five (5) Credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB.O’Level subjects at not more than two(2) sittings in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English language, and Physics
at not more than two sittings from one source I,e NECO to NECO WAEC to WAEC.

25. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIANS-IN-TRAINING (MLT) COURSE
MODE OF ENTRYCOLLEGE CBT
DURATION; 6SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements:
At least five (5) passes in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, O’Level subjects at not more than 2 sittings which must include English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Any result that is more than five years from the next Academic session is not acceptable to the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

N.B: 2 results from WAEC, NABTEB, and NECO can be combined for MLT (Certificate programme).

26. X-RAY TECHNICIANS- IN- TRAINING (X-RAY CERT. PROGRAMME)
MODE OF ENTRY: COLLEGE CBT
DURATION: 6 SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements:
I. At least five (5)credit passes in WASCE, GCE, SSCE, NECO. O’Level subjects at not more than 2 sittings which must include English, Biology Mathematics, Chemistry,
and Physics from one source i.e NECO to NECO, WAEC to WAEC.
(i) X-Ray Assistant Certificate from recognized Institution plus O’ Level requirements in (I) above will be admitted to 200 Level.

27 NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CHEW TECHNOLOGY (ND CHEW TECHNOLOGY) PROGRAMME.
MODE OF ENTRY; JAMB
DURATION; 4SEMESTERS
Candidates must possess the following requirements;
At least five (5) credit passes in WASCE, GCE, NABTEB, NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

How to Apply for College of Health Sciences and Technology (CHST) Ijero-Ekiti Admission Form.

1. Log on to www.eportal.chstecijero.edu.ng and click on the 2020/2021 Application Form. You will be directed to the online application portal.

2. Click on ‘new applicant’ and provide the required details to create an account, after which you will be prompted to log in. Enter your username and password you already created to login.

3. Select 2020/2021 Application Form

4. Review your details and click ‘make payment’. This will redirect you to the online payment platform. Select your card type (e.g. Master Card, Visa, Verve, etc). Enter your debit/ATM card details, click ‘Pay’ and wait while you are redirected back to the portal. Print your receipt and proceed with your registration.

5. After successful payment, click ‘proceeds’ to fill in the required details on the Application form and attached your recent passport photograph in JPEG format only

6. Enter detailed O’ Level results. Combined results from any two of these examinations – WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB can be used.

7. Preview, confirm, submit and print out the completed form which you are expected to bring to the Examination Centre.

8. Examination date and time will be obtained from the printout.
