AFIT Post UTME Form: The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna Post-Unified  Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME), and Direct Entry (DE)  Screening Form for the 2021/2022 academic session is now on sale. The AFIT cut-off mark is 140. The AFIT Post UTME Form cost is  ₦2,000.00

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna for the 2021/2022 academic session that the online application portal is now open!

AFIT POST UTME

AFIT Post UTME / DE Eligibility 2021/2022

(i) Only UTME and JAMB DE candidates who selected AFIT, Kaduna as the first choice are eligible for the screening exercise. Those who did not choose AFIT as the first choice are required to change their first choice to AFIT to be eligible for registration.

(ii) UTME Candidates must have a minimum score of 140 for the ND programme and 180 for the degree programme.

(iii) All candidates must meet all the admission requirements stated on the AFIT portal or JAMB Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).

How to Apply For AFIT Post UTME / DE Screening Form.

  • All UTME and JAMB DE candidates must pay the screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only.
  • All candidates for PRE-HND, HND, and Postgraduate Admission must pay the screening fee of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only.

Note: The Post UTME screening exercise will be conducted between 23rd November and 28th November 2020.

For Higher National Diploma (HND) -Programmes in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, Aircraft Engineering Technology (Airframe and Power Plant Option), Aircraft Engineering Technology (Avionics Option), Mechanical Engineering Technology (Power and Plant Option), and Mechanical Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Option)

(i)    ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in the relevant field from recognized Polytechnics.

(ii)   A minimum of one-year post-ND cognate work experience.

(iii)  Pre-HND in relevant programmes may be considered.

(iii)   Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any   other  subject from  Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Geography, Biology, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Applied Electricity, Electronics, Building Construction, and Agricultural Science

For the Higher National Diploma (HND) -Programmes in Purchasing and Supply

(i)   ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in Business Administration and Management from recognized Polytechnics.

(ii)   A minimum of one-year post-ND cognate work experience.

(iii)  Five (5) ‘O’Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Geography, Government, History, Civic Education, French, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Christian Religious Studies.

(iv)   Evidence of compulsory Industrial Training (IT) or attachment in a reputable Organization.

(v)   Pre-HND in the relevant programmes may be considered.

For Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND) – Programmes in Aircraft Engineering Technology and Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology

(i)   ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering

(ii)   A minimum of one-year post-ND cognate work experience.

For Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND) – Programme in Purchasing and Supply

(i)   ND with a minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA of 2.50) in any relevant field obtained from recognized polytechnics.

(ii)    A minimum of one-year post-ND cognate work experience.

For Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) -Programme in Aerospace Engineering.

Minimum of Third Class in Engineering, Material Sciences or Physics, or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Material Science Engineering.

For Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) -Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

A minimum grade of B.Sc degree with Third Class Honours or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Purchasing & Supply and other related fields.

For Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) -Programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

A minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and other related fields.

For Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) -Programme in Construction Technology

A minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in the relevant program

For the Master’s Programme in Aerospace Engineering

A minimum of Second Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Material Science Engineering.
